In the morning of 12th November, at the Provincial Center for Culture and Information, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized the Opening ceremony of the Photo Exhibition of "Top-ranking General, Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap" and "Viet Nam - Thai Nguyen – Your destination".
Attending the Opening ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Bac Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Information – Communication; Comrade Vu Hong Bac, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; the leaderships of Salo city (Finland) – the city is twinned with Thai Nguyen city; departments and branches, etc.
Photo exhibition of "Top-ranking General, Commander-in-Chief Vo Nguyen Giap" displayed images on the activities of Top-ranking General, Commander-in-Chief during the time he worked at ATK Dinh Hoa. This is the gift of Comrade Nguyen Bac Son, Minister of Information – Communication, for Thai Nguyen on the occasion of the Tea Festival. At the Opening ceremony of the Exhibition, the Minister presented Thai Nguyen 30 episodes of Vietnamese land and people; gave the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism a photo of Ha Long Bay on the occasion of being one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, etc.

Photo Exhibition of "Viet Nam - Thai Nguyen – Your destination" displayed nearly 500 photos, documents and items in order to introduce some outstanding achievements of Viet Nam and Thai Nguyen in the fields of politics, economy and cultural - society, foreign affairs in the country's reform and the International integration. In which, there were over 100 exhibits with ceramic, porcelain, copper, tea utensils manufactured in Viet Nam, China, Japan, dating from the XI-XX centuries.
The exhibition opens from 12th to 15th of November.
